Saturday support worker in Bonnyrigg
We need a support worker to join the team at our Bonnyrigg Day Centre, working Saturdays from 10:30 to 16:30, providing individual support to our young service users.

We are looking for people who are patient, practical and committed to the Action Group’s values of equality, inclusion and opportunity for all to work at our Saturday day centre in Bonnyrigg.
No experience or formal qualifications are necessary as paid training is provided, but some experience of an educational or care setting would be an advantage.
- £9.00 – £9.40 per hour, depending on qualification and length of service
- Saturdays, 10:30 – 16:30
- Location: Bonnyrigg
If you are interested in this position, but want to work more hours, we would be happy to discuss the possibility of also working in other services in our Midlothian team.
The day centre is for teenagers and young adults with additional support needs to help them lead fulfilling, included lives through having fun, being an active part of the community and experiencing new things. The role may involve outdoor or indoor sports, arts and crafts and organising events and transport. You must have an understanding and interest in young people and their needs and an enthusiastic and positive approach to working with them. You will usually be working with at least one other support worker, providing individualised support to a service user.
