We have created a new team to support individuals getting into their first home. For this exciting time in peoples’ lives, we need support workers who can help our service users through the transition and enable them to get the best possible start in their tenancy.

We have a new team in Musselburgh dedicated to getting individuals into their first home and supporting them as they take steps towards greater independence. We need fun, friendly, caring, energetic and motivated support workers to make this important time in peoples’ lives the best it can be!

  • Location: Musselburgh, East Lothian Team
  • Salary: £9.30 – £9.70 per hour
  • Full-time and part time positions available
  • Sleepover shifts paid at £74.40 per night
  • Waking Night shifts may be available.

This is a brand-new service for our organisation and we are excited about it – we hope you are too! Cutting edge training will be provided for this role and development opportunities will be available.

The property in Musselburgh is on a direct bus route and would be accessible for those living in both the Edinburgh and East Lothian areas.

The right candidate will share the Action Group’s values of inclusion and equality and will have a person-centred approach to providing support.  Experience in a social care role would be an advantage, but is not required as paid training is provided.
