Female* Support worker in West Lothian


We are looking for fun and energetic female* Support Workers to support our service user living in Armadale. She benefits from 24/7 support, and we are seeking women who can work weekends with sleepovers.

  • Part time – 16 hours (weekends with sleepovers).
  • £9.30 – £9.70 per hour
  • Sleepovers are paid at a rate of £72 per night and we are happy to talk about flexibility.

A little bit about one of our service users:

“I am a young woman living in my own flat in Armadale. My staff support me with my day to day activities, to maintain my home and do sleepovers with me. I have autism and a learning disability. I am looking for positive, reliable, fun and enthusiastic women* to support me. I need staff who are able to work with me when my emotions can become overwhelming for me, who can drive my car for me and who are able to work at all times of the day, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and sleepovers. Can you support me to have a fun and fulfilling life?”

You will be part of a fantastic team supporting our service users to live independently, both at home and out and about in Armadale and elsewhere in West Lothian. You will have the desire and ability to build and maintain good relationships; and have an organised, collaborative and flexible approach to providing the best support possible. A positive, can-do attitude is essential and resilience and determination are also desirable key skills.

Knowledge and experience of the emotional and practical difficulties faced by our service users is desirable, along with your creative in your approach to problem solving.

We provide paid training and many of our support workers go on to gain formal qualifications in social care.
