Events Coordinator Vacancy

We are looking for someone with a background in support work to coordinate events for the people who use our day support services.

Are you a great organiser with a passion for supporting people?  We need someone to tailor and coordinate events as part of our day support service for people with learning disabilities, autism and/or other support needs.

  • Salary: £20,234 – £21,352 per annum (SCB1 – B3).
  • Hours: 39 per week.
  • Location: Working remotely/from home. Once COVID restrictions are lifted, the candidate may be required to travel to our main office in Edinburgh as well as other locations.

The successful candidate will curate the activities in collaboration with the people we support, with input from them on what they want to spend their time doing, with a focus on goals and outcomes as well as enjoyment and connection.

You will manage a small budget and should be prepared to work autonomously, communicating at all levels of the organisation and using different delivery platforms to present the activities.

You should have experience of support work, and it would be an advantage if you have experience of organising events, both in person and online.
