Assistant Team Manager Vacancy – Day Support INTERNAL ONLY
We need an assistant team manager at our Day Support services in Gilmerton to help manage the team of support workers and also provide support. This opportunity would suit an experienced support worker who is ready to take on greater responsibility or someone who has some experience of managing a support service.
As an assistant team manager you will spend some of your time providing 1:1 support for the service users who attend our Day Support services, and the rest of your time you will perform management duties.
The assistant team manager will be responsible for planning and managing staff rotas, staff supervisions and meetings, as well as attending reviews and keeping paperwork up to date. Working closely with three other assistant team managers in other locations, the successful candidate will have to communicate with the team manager, professionals from other organisations and service users’ families to ensure that we provide high quality services.
- Salary: £19,570 – £20,685 per annum
- Hours: 39 per week
- Monday to Friday, Daytimes
- Working in Gilmerton
We welcome applications from internal candidates with at least one year’s experience of support work. You must be able and prepared to complete an SVQ 2 in Social Care within one year of taking the post, or be the holder of an equivalent qualification.
